I’m a new mom and this day is my very first Mothers Day…its definetly special to me. But I can’t help but think about my own mother and how she’s helped me through so many ups and downs of my life…teaching me valuable lessons that I hope to pass on to my own son. She is the epitome of what I want to be one day. I love you Mom.

I visit the site Two Peas in a Bucket quite often to get ideas, purchase the latest scrapbooking collections or just check out a forum or two but a few months back I noticed a Garden Girl (its like their version of a resident designer) with beautiful cards that I thought were very creative. Kristen Werner makes the most lovely cards on her blog and she even has videos so you can follow along and see exactly how she puts them together.
