Handmade Mothers Day Cards

Here are a few of the cards I made for the special Moms in my life.

I had a blast making these fun cards. For the purple and green MOM card I used Stampin Up’s Day of Gratitude medallion clear stamp. On the purple card, it was inked on orange scrap paper with pumpkin pie ink  and then I used a red pen to color in details and purple glitter to make it pop against the background. On the MOM card, I used the smae stamp but this time I used it on kraft paper with clear ink and then used a white embossing powder and my heating tool to make the image rise. For the Flowers card, I layerd flowers and stapled them to the card using  a tiny stapler (this is easier then using a glue dot) and then adhered blue gems in the center of the flowers. I made a flower pot from photo corners and drew stem lines from the flowers to the pot using a brown pen. The Dots card was simple…started out with a green flower, white glittered brad, a punched scallop shape from kraft paper, and a brown polka dotted paper with corners punched and then adhered all to the green card. I finished it with white dot details.
