Twins Baby card

The washcloth cupcakes was part of her gift (as seen in the previous post) but here is the card I made for my friend that’s expecting twin boys.

I started off with a green card from Paper Source. I punched out a 2.5 scallop circle of patterned cardstock and a smaller scallop of light blue cardstock. I needed a focal point so I took my Martha Stewart elephant punch and punched out two cute little elephants from teal and white polka dot paper. I then added a tiny heart to the two overlapping trunks with a foam dot. I punched the edge of the card and swiped some navy blue ink across it so it would pop. Then I cut some velvet scalloped ribbon as an embellishment for the card. I laid that down and then adhered the scalloped elephants on top. It was missing something so I took a pen and wrote out: GOOD THINGS come in multiples on the card. I added some glue and sprinkled some glitter on the Good Things to make it sparkle!

I added a punched out elephant to the envelope flap too! I think it turned out pretty good.

Berry Cute Card

I made this birthday card for a friend’s daughter. The theme of the party was strawberry shortcake and I just happened to have some stickers to match!

I took pink cardstock folded it in half vertically and then punched a border on it. I then took a diecut strawberry and attached it to a die cut green scallop background…it needed a little something so I outlined the edges with a yellow marker. Next, I took my 2.5 inch jumbo scallop punch and made another background for the strawberry, so it looks layered. I had some red cardstock, which I punched the edges of and adhered it to the card…attaching the strawberry/scallops on top. I tied a red ribbon around the card and put a strawberry shortcake sticker on top..lastly, I took a tiny scallop-shaped diecut and applied a number 3 to it and placed it next to Ms. Shortcake.  I love how girly it is!
